On the 20th of January 1930, The Tower Lodge No. 5159 was consecrated at Freemasons Hall (FMH) in London and we are looking forward to celebrating our Centenary in 2030.
Our members come from a wide range of backgrounds and occupations, and reflects several major religions including Sikhism, Islam, Judaism and Christianity.
Our Lodge prides itself on its multicultural diversity, is extremely friendly and has a healthy mix of young and old members who hail from as far afield as Scotland, Derbyshire and the West Midlands, with around half of members living and working in/around the London and Greater London area.
We hold regular Lodge of Instruction meetings in Derby and FMH and being an integral part of one of the world’s oldest and largest non-religious, non-political organisations, based on fraternal and charitable principles, we also like to ensure our masonic ceremonies are as polished as possible, for the enjoyment of the members and our visitors alike.
Like many other Lodges we do not take our membership cadre for granted and are always looking to attract, retain and develop new members who are willing to buy into our traditions, ethos, and quest for continuous improvement in everything we do…and of course have fun along the way!
If you want to be part of a social and charitable organisation based on the principles mentioned above, then freemasonry is for you.
